About the event

HS&E Test (CSCS).

If your old card has expired, or a Labourer, PQP or AQP card, you will need to take a new CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test (CSCS Test).

NB – First check that your Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment certificate or other relevant qualification(s) is still valid (in date).

If it has expired, you will need to undertake the Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (RQF)training and assessment again, and then take the HS&E Test (CSCS) in order to get your CSCS card.

We have limited places on each training day, with the following booking options:

HS&E Test (CSCS) only – £40.00 per person (£22.50 test, £17.50 admin fee).

HS&E Test (CSCS) inc Card (inclusive of Test & Card) – £80.00 per person (£22.50 test, £36.00 card, £21.50 admin fee).

NB – ID Requirement

Make sure you have the correct identification before taking a test.

Please read the ID Requirements page prior to booking a test or course.

Booking and confirmation procedures

As an approved CITB ITC, ACE Training is now required to book candidates at least 48 hours before the CSCS test.

All HS&E Tests (CSCS) bookings (including the Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment package - which includes the HS&E Test) with ACE Training, must be booked and confirmed no later than the Thursday 12 noon, before your training and test the following week.

NB – Check your qualification is appropriate

If you are only booking and taking the HS&E Test (CSCS) only, you must check you have the appropriate qualification, when you apply for your card. Use the CITB Card Finder to check cards and qualifications.
